Platform is a small, dynamic charity that combines art, activism, education and research. Whether supporting people in the Niger Delta to stand up to the big oil companies, researching the impact of oil pipelines or producing art and poetry with young people to explore issues of race and power, Platform’s work inspires positive change. The need for ecological and social justice across the world underpins all that we do.
Become part of our growing network of Sustainers by making a regular monthly donation below. This is so useful to help us plan our work with more confidence. Sustainers are invited to meet and talk with Platform’s campaigners and artists – and other Sustainers – in a twice-yearly event, and are invited to be more involved in our work. Contact [email protected] for more information. Thank you.
We can only achieve this with the help of people like you.
Platform’s new campaign Action Saro-Wiwa is calling for a community of supporters to help the spectacular Living Memorial to Ken Saro-Wiwa – The Bus by artist Sokari Douglas Camp – make the journey to support our allies in the Niger Delta. The return home of this sculpture, emblazoned with Ken’s words, will help the Ogoni struggle in a way that only art can. You can become a special donor and receive a unique, numbered ‘Bus ticket’ signed by the artist, through Justgiving.
